Role Summary

This is a permanent, remote-first position for candidates based in Berlin, Munich, Stuttgart, London, or Porto.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers to create functional requirements
  • Work with UX designers to develop and implement requirements
  • Build efficient, data-powered REST APIs in Python
  • Develop end-to-end data pipelines and AI models for APIs
  • Integrate APIs with front-end engineers
  • Contribute to testing and bug fixes

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of experience as a Python backend developer (ideally 2+ years in a B2B environment)
  • Comfortable communicating with customers to understand requirements
  • Experience with Python frameworks (e.g., Flask, Bottle), AWS, and REST
  • Solid understanding of databases and SQL (preferably graph databases)
  • Experience building data pipelines with complex data
  • Experience with large, enterprise-grade applications
  • Based in Germany or Europe
