Role Summary

• Join Univrses in Stockholm as a Masters thesis intern
• Work on computer vision and machine learning technology for self-driving vehicles, mobile robotics, and smart cities
• Focus on research topics for Spring semester 2026:
  • Multiview 2D to 3D reconstruction in the wild with feed-forward neural networks (VGGT/MASt3R/Fast3R)
  • 3D reconstruction with Gaussian Splatting

Responsibilities

• Meet regularly with a mentor to discuss and formulate research project ideas, goals, and experiments
• Conduct literature reviews
• Design and code experiments
• Develop novel technology
• Provide regular updates on progress and thesis writing for feedback and advice

Requirements

• Interest in developing technology for smart cities
• Curiosity about research methods and prototyping proofs of concept
• Ability to design and implement experiments
• Knowledge and willingness to learn more about computer vision, machine learning, projective geometry, and linear algebra
• Self-driven and able to communicate well in English
