Role Summary
- Join Univrses in Stockholm as a Masters thesis intern
- Work on computer vision and machine learning technology for self-driving vehicles, mobile robotics, and smart cities
- Focus on research topics for Spring semester 2026:
- Multiview 2D to 3D reconstruction in the wild with feed-forward neural networks (VGGT/MASt3R/Fast3R)
- 3D reconstruction with Gaussian Splatting
Responsibilities
- Meet regularly with a mentor to discuss and formulate research project ideas, goals, and experiments
- Conduct literature reviews
- Design and code experiments
- Develop novel technology
- Provide regular updates on progress and thesis writing for feedback and advice
Requirements
- Interest in developing technology for smart cities
- Curiosity about research methods and prototyping proofs of concept
- Ability to design and implement experiments
- Knowledge and willingness to learn more about computer vision, machine learning, projective geometry, and linear algebra
- Self-driven and able to communicate well in English
