This role requires a mature, empathetic individual to provide personal care and support for a 61-year-old woman with sclerosis who uses a wheelchair and catheter. The position involves 24-hour shifts from 9 am to 9 am, covering for vacation and illness within a small, close-knit team of five helpers. Key responsibilities include personal hygiene assistance, meal preparation, household chores, and safe operation of a ceiling lift. The candidate must have a valid driving license (category B) and experience driving a manual transmission vehicle, as transportation in a handicap-adapted car is part of the duties. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work respectfully and collaboratively are essential, as the role demands close cooperation and trust. While prior experience is not mandatory, the right personal chemistry and motivation to make a positive difference are highly valued. The candidate should be comfortable with intensive, round-the-clock caregiving and adaptable to the needs of the individual.
