Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Workdune platform and services (“Service”) provided by Workdune (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By creating an account, posting a job, uploading a CV, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts.
  • If you register on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorized to bind that company to these Terms.

2. Accounts

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
  • You are responsible for all activities under your account.

3. Service scope

3.1 For Candidates

  • You can create a profile, upload CVs, and be matched with job opportunities.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information you provide.

3.2 For Companies

  • You may post jobs and access candidate matches.
  • You agree to use candidate data solely for recruitment purposes and in compliance with data protection laws (GDPR).
  • You must not resell, share, or misuse candidate information.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful purposes.
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data.
  • Scrape, copy, or exploit data for commercial use outside the Service.
  • Post misleading, discriminatory, or inappropriate content.

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that breach these rules.

5. Fees and payments

  • Candidates: Service is free for job-seekers.
  • Companies: Posting jobs and accessing matches may be subject to subscription or usage-based fees.
  • All payments are handled securely through third-party providers (e.g., Stripe).
  • Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Intellectual property

  • The Service and its content (design, software, logos, trademarks) are owned by Workdune or our licensors.
  • You retain ownership of content you upload (e.g., CVs, job posts) but grant us a non-exclusive license to use it for providing the Service.
  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer our Service.

7. Data protection & privacy

  • Processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
  • By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree to that policy.
  • Companies must comply with GDPR when processing candidate data received through Workdune.

8. Availability

  • We strive to keep the Service available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
  • We may suspend the Service for maintenance, upgrades, or technical reasons.
  • We are not liable for downtime or data loss, except as required by law.

9. Disclaimers

  • The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
  • We do not guarantee job offers for candidates or hiring success for companies.
  • We are not responsible for the accuracy of user-provided content (CVs, job posts).

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g., lost profits, data loss).
  • Our total liability to you for any claims related to the Service will not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months prior to the claim (or €100 if no payments were made).

11. Termination

  • You may close your account at any time.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or misuse the Service.
  • Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately.
  • Certain obligations (fees owed, IP rights, confidentiality, limitations of liability) will survive termination.

12. Governing law & disputes

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark.
  • Any dispute shall be resolved by the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. If we make significant changes, we will notify users via email or platform notice. Continued use of the Service after changes indicates acceptance.
