A solid understanding of technology environments including Azure cloud services, Azure SQL, and MSSQL databases is necessary. The candidate should have significant experience in financial technology and banking domains, with knowledge of budget systems, accounting functionalities, system integration, and compliance with audit and security standards relevant to financial systems. Strong collaboration skills are required to work effectively with application managers, DBAs, system administrators, and end users. The role also requires maturity to guide testing procedures compliant with CMMI standards. Additional desirable skills include familiarity with JMeter and SonarQube, as well as an understanding of data governance and data quality issues. Fluency in English and the ability to work fully remotely in an international context complete the profile.

Senior QA Test Engineer (Full Remote, Contractor in USD)
Location: Remote (International project in Chennai)
Role Summary
Seeking a motivated Senior QA Test Engineer (contractor) with 8+ years of experience for a fully remote role. Must be fluent in English.
Responsibilities
- Verify & validate processes, activities, methods, and tools
- Develop, maintain, and implement system/UAT testing strategies, test plans, processes, scenarios, and cases
- Create test estimation templates
- Identify test cases suitable for automation
- Map business requirements to test results
- Develop automation scripts for test cases
- Create test cases for System Tests, System Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing
- Execute tests manually or via automation as required
- Identify and execute both functional and UI test cases
- Perform black box and white box testing
- Share test reports and status updates with the Project Manager
- Support various testing needs (UT, UAT, performance testing, etc.)
- Retest defects/bugs and certify software for next phases
- Collaborate with team members to triage defects and retest fixes
- Ensure high quality of work products as defined in the Test Strategy
- Align with project timelines and execute tasks accordingly
- Document standards and guidelines for scripting
- Prepare install guides and user manuals for test automation scripts
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree
- 8+ years in QA and Test Automation
- Deep knowledge of budget systems, accounting functionalities, and system integration
- Experience with web automation tools (Selenium with Java/C#, Playwright)
- Experience with native Windows applications automation
- Knowledge of automation framework design
- Familiarity with Azure Test Plans and Azure DevOps
