Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, specifically ArgoCD, is important for enabling seamless, automated deployments. The role emphasizes a test-driven development approach, requiring the ability to write robust unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure reliability and audit readiness of complex environmental data processing systems. Knowledge of observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Tempo, Loki, and OpenTelemetry is valuable for monitoring and troubleshooting distributed systems. Additional experience with messaging systems like rabbitMQ and communication protocols such as GRPC is beneficial. Candidates should have a portfolio or GitHub demonstrating explorative projects, reflecting curiosity and hands-on experience with modern cloud-native technologies. At Quantified Impacts, we help manufacturers calculate and document product-level emissions with speed and ISO-compliant accuracy. We are looking for a Junior Backend & Infrastructure Developer to help build scalable, reliable systems for global decarbonization.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain microservices that process complex environmental data
- Use Terraform to manage our Azure environment (Infrastructure as Code)
- Work with ArgoCD and CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments
- Write robust tests (unit, integration, E2E) to ensure audit-ready, reliable carbon calculations
- Collaborate closely with founders and the tech team to solve sustainability challenges
Requirements
- Recent graduate (BSc or MSc) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or just starting your career
- Portfolio or GitHub with explorative projects (e.g., Raspberry Pi cluster, web app, open source contributions)
- At least one internship with real-world software development experience
- Test-driven mindset; value accuracy and reliability
- Interest in DevOps and Infrastructure (eager to master Kubernetes in production)
- Already living in Denmark and able to come into the office in Valby
