Chief Software Architect in Channels Security

• Lead the transformation of Danske Bank’s digital banking platforms to cloud-native, globally scalable, and ultra-secure solutions
• Set the vision and technical direction for secure digital channels
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate leading identity solutions and set new standards for security and reliability
• Position based in Aarhus, within a diverse team across Denmark, Lithuania, and India

Responsibilities

• Define and drive architecture for a multi-team programme implementing a new CIAM platform
• Ensure seamless integration of business-critical solutions (PCI DSS authentication, regulatory APIs, EU Wallet, identity provider upgrades) via a modular, scalable, and parallel delivery pipeline
• Define and promote the security architecture vision, balancing ease of use and operational reliability
• Coach lead engineers and architects to optimize and innovate security solutions
• Collaborate with tribe and cluster architects to shape the digital channels platform

Requirements

• Experience as a lead engineer or senior architect
• Extensive experience with public cloud and cloud-native development
• Proven ability to lead large IT changes with a collaborative and coaching mindset
• Strong hands-on skills and the ability to think abstractly and strategically
