The role is remote, preferably aligned with EU time zones, and involves leading the technical vision and roadmap for Bloom's growth and global scaling. Location: Remote (Preferably EU time zone)
Commitment: Part-time leading to full-time
Compensation: 5–10% equity (based on contribution and milestones)
About Bloom
- Wellness app for dancers, by dancers, currently for iOS
- Helps dancers track mood, sleep, and performance to improve mental health, recovery, and motivation
- Validated with a live prototype and strong traction in the global dance community
- Next step: launch v0.2 iOS app (Supabase + PostgreSQL) and scale globally
- Founded by Arthur Erlanson and Lincoln Sharp, professional ballet dancers and entrepreneurs
Role Summary
- CTO / technical co-founder to take full ownership of Bloom’s technical direction and architecture
- Lead the build of the iOS app backend and integrations

Responsibilities
- Lead development of the iOS app’s backend (Supabase / PostgreSQL)
- Collaborate with the frontend team on the React-based iOS interface
- Set up scalable database structure for mood, sleep, and activity data
- Implement AI integrations
- Design and maintain internal tools for analytics and recommendations
- Shape Bloom’s long-term technical vision and roadmap
Requirements
