Role Summary

  • Join the Cleaning Section at UN City Copenhagen, covering two campuses with approx. 2,000 employees
  • Ensure high cleaning standards for approx. 40,000 m² of buildings
  • Work mainly after office hours (17:00–01:00); occasional daytime, weekend, and UN holiday shifts
  • Full-time position: 8.5 hours daily, including a 30-minute break on UN premises

Responsibilities

  • Clean, stock, and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc.)
  • Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
  • Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
  • Notify management of deficiencies or repair needs
  • Stock and maintain supply rooms
  • Cooperate with the rest of the staff
  • Perform other related cleaning jobs as needed
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and policies (security, sustainability, gender, etc.)

Requirements

  • High School certificate required
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant cleaning experience
  • Proven working experience as a Cleaning Service Assistant
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • Integrity and high ethical standards
  • Passionate about sustainability
  • Excellent knowledge of English
  • Eligible to work within EU/Schengen area (no relocation support provided)
