Role Summary
- Join the Cleaning Section at UN City Copenhagen, covering two campuses with approx. 2,000 employees
- Ensure high cleaning standards for approx. 40,000 m² of buildings
- Work mainly after office hours (17:00–01:00); occasional daytime, weekend, and UN holiday shifts
- Full-time position: 8.5 hours daily, including a 30-minute break on UN premises
Responsibilities
- Clean, stock, and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc.)
- Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
- Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
- Notify management of deficiencies or repair needs
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff
- Perform other related cleaning jobs as needed
- Follow all health and safety regulations and policies (security, sustainability, gender, etc.)
Requirements
- High School certificate required
- Minimum 3 years of relevant cleaning experience
- Proven working experience as a Cleaning Service Assistant
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Integrity and high ethical standards
- Passionate about sustainability
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Eligible to work within EU/Schengen area (no relocation support provided)
