Role Summary

  • Take full responsibility for supporting all Customer IT activities across local Axlab teams and Automation Distributors
  • Ensure smooth integration between product portfolio and customer systems
  • Work closely with customers and Field Application, Sales, and Service teams
  • Provide professional IT support and pre- and post-sales assistance
  • Contribute to increased customer satisfaction and successful product adoption

About Axlab

  • Implements innovation in pathology labs under the motto “Your Vision. Our Inspiration”
  • Distributes advanced medical equipment and consumables, focusing on pathology, to labs and hospitals in Europe and the USA
  • Represents 21 suppliers, including 12 strategic partners
  • Produces BiopSafe biopsy containers for efficient formalin handling
  • Approx. 60 colleagues, with headquarters in Vedbæk and sales teams in Europe and the USA

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the highest-level IT competence to support products and solutions
  • Act as specialist in contact with local IT vendors to ensure quality connections and steer IT development
  • Collaborate with Sales, Service, Marketing, RA/QA to develop and launch new products and features, and handle complaints
  • Oversee the area and prepare IT application team meetings with stakeholders (customers, marketing, sales, service)
  • Support Axlab Direct Sales and Automation Distributors with staff training, product demonstrations, and reference account set-up
  • Network with customers and provide feedback on requirements for product enhancements and new IT applications
  • Represent Axlab at trade shows and vendor events
  • Maintain and update scientific knowledgebase on IT trends in Pathology and Histology

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of IT experience, preferably in hospital or clinical settings
  • Experience with:
    • Databases
    • Services
    • Server setup
    • PC updates
    • PDAs
    • Troubleshooting USB connections
    • IT security
  • Strong team player with clear and proactive communication
  • Ability to lead through influence and navigate challenges with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Passion for operational excellence and continuous improvement
  • Acts with integrity and remains calm under pressure
  • Fluent in English and Danish, written and spoken
