Responsibilities
- Configure, monitor, and maintain machines and services
- Use tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Grafana, Prometheus, and Docker
- Work primarily with physical servers (not AWS)
- Facilitate observability with Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki
- Automate workflows using CI/CD pipelines and Ansible
- Enhance security by hardening Linux servers
- Improve reliability by managing Docker containers and proactive monitoring
- Build internal tools in Python/Go and handle ad-hoc IT tasks
Requirements
- Several years of experience in dev-ops, able to own tasks independently
- Solid understanding of networks (layer 4 and up)
- Ability to configure and debug services using standard Linux utilities and preferred editors
Nice to Have
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
