This position requires a skilled and reliable worker for a family-owned sawmill specializing in European hardwoods such as oak, beech, and ash. Key competencies include experience or strong interest in the timber or general production industry, with a focus on cutting and sorting hardwood timber. The role involves operating sawmill machinery and handling both standard and custom production tasks, including processing timber into edged blocks and tailored planks up to 160 cm wide. Practical knowledge of machine operation and timber handling is essential, while a forklift (truck) license is advantageous but not mandatory. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively in English and comprehend work instructions clearly. Personal attributes such as stability, independence, and responsibility are critical, given the potential for overtime and the need to work autonomously. The work schedule is Monday to Thursday from 07:00 to 16:00 with breaks, and Friday from 07:00 to 12:00, offering a structured environment within a growing and stable company.
