About FLC

  • Femern Link Contractors (FLC) is responsible for designing and constructing the immersed tunnel, portals, and ramps in Rødbyhavn and Puttgarden
  • Building facilities for prefabricating tunnel elements and accommodation facilities (“Tunnel village”) in Rødbyhavn

About the Department

  • Earthworks at Sea handles all marine activities related to Trench Works, Gravel Works, and Rock Works

Responsibilities

Operational Planning and Execution

  • Develop and manage detailed operational plans for efficient project execution
  • Align activities with project contracts, plans, and budget
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, mainly within the Marine Works Department

Project Engineering

  • Organize and optimize day-to-day operations of the Protection Layer Pontoon
  • Ensure project activities are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with QHSE-S standards
  • Prepare detailed working sequences, including resources, calculations, and design criteria

Technical Expertise

  • Apply operational experience with crane pontoons, long-range excavators, and similar marine construction tools
  • Prepare Work Method Statements, CAD drawings, and technical notes

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role within marine construction and/or near/offshore industry
  • Understanding of marine operations, especially subsea or nearshore construction
  • Excellent engineering skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Comprehensive knowledge of QHSE-S standards in marine operations
  • Effective communication skills for stakeholder management and reporting
