This nursing position at LATA Assist requires a dedicated and skilled nurse passionate about quality and professional nursing practice. The role involves close collaboration with the organization's development nurse and focuses on providing care within social service law frameworks §§ 107, 108, and 110, primarily in the Greater Copenhagen area. The nurse will work with vulnerable populations including refugees with reduced psychological functioning, individuals in social psychiatric housing, and young adults and adults with autism spectrum disorders. Key responsibilities include assessing and addressing individual health needs, supporting clients alongside pedagogical staff and department leaders, and managing daily nursing tasks related to the 12 health professional problem areas. The nurse is expected to develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans, handle medication administration and access to the Danish Shared Medication Record (FMK) after training, and manage reporting and follow-up of adverse incidents. Daily professional sparring with the development nurse is part of the role, emphasizing continuous quality improvement and nursing expertise. The position requires a valid driver's license (category B) and willingness to use a personal vehicle for work purposes. The work schedule is 32-37 hours per week on weekdays, based at the main office in Taastrup. Candidates should demonstrate strong competencies in clinical nursing assessment, care planning, medication management, interprofessional collaboration, and adherence to relevant social and healthcare legislation. Experience or interest in psychiatric and social care settings, especially working with vulnerable groups such as refugees and individuals with autism, is essential.
