A valid category B driver's license is mandatory, indicating the ability to travel independently. Experience or willingness to assist with personal care and operate lifting equipment is advantageous, though training will be provided. The position involves supporting the client during illness and ensuring safety and comfort throughout the shift. Strong interpersonal skills and reliability are essential, as the caregiver will work closely with the client and family. Overall, the role demands practical caregiving skills, night-time vigilance, basic health support capabilities, and a responsible attitude to meet the needs of a young adult with significant physical disabilities.
