This role requires a reliable and responsible caregiver to provide awake night shifts for a young adult with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA II), who uses a wheelchair. The primary duties involve overnight support from 23:00 to 07:00, with a minimum commitment of 1-2 shifts per week and the possibility of occasional day shifts. Candidates must have a valid category B driver's license and the ability to remain alert throughout the night. Flexibility to cover shifts during illness is essential. While prior experience with lifts and personal care is advantageous, training will be provided. The position demands strong interpersonal skills, patience, and the capacity to assist with mobility and personal care tasks as needed. The caregiver should be comfortable working independently and coordinating with the family to arrange workdays. An interest in supporting someone with physical disabilities, combined with a stable and responsible attitude, is critical.
