Role Summary
- Lead the kitchen team and shape the restaurant’s culinary direction
Responsibilities
- Lead and organize all kitchen operations
- Create and execute menus and seasonal specials
- Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and hygiene standards
- Manage purchasing, suppliers, and food costs
- Train and motivate kitchen staff
- Work closely with management on menu strategy and guest experience
- Position is not affected by any strike or lockout
Requirements
- Proven experience as Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef
- Strong leadership and kitchen management skills
- Knowledge of Italian-American cuisine
- Understanding of budgeting, cost control, and procurement
- Fluent in English (Danish an advantage)
- Must meet SIRI’s eligibility requirements for a work visa
Employment Terms
- Full-time, 37 hours/week
- Permanent position under Danish employment standards
- Gross annual salary: at least DKK 415,000 (2025), qualifying under the Supplementary Pay Limit Scheme
- Includes pension and paid holiday allowance per Danish law
- Salary paid to a Danish bank account in the employee’s name
- Written contract outlining all terms provided before employment begins
