About the role
We are seeking an experienced colleague to lead our Compliance Oversight Assessments (COA) team. You will guide specialists who review how frameworks from Group Risk Management and 1st Line Specialist Functions support the management of Compliance Risks, including Market, Liquidity, Credit, Operational, IT & Security, and Data Risk Management. You will work closely with regulatory authorities and partners across the organisation to ensure compliance practices are clear, consistent, and aligned with regulatory expectations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the COA team with clear guidance and inclusive coaching
- Coordinate COA activities and ensure consistent delivery across the Group
- Act as primary contact with regulatory authorities, including the DFSA
- Review frameworks from Group Risk Management and 1st Line Specialist Functions, contributing to improvements in compliance risk management
- Collaborate with colleagues across Group Compliance and strengthen business partnerships
- Contribute to enhancing processes and ways of working within the compliance function
- Oversee planning, quality reviews, observation management, and follow-up activities
- Maintain and develop procedures supporting effective governance and regulatory alignment
- Participate in strategic and transformation initiatives, including Forward ’28
Requirements
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, finance, or legal roles within a financial institution or professional services organisation
- Leadership experience is a plus
- Knowledge of regulations related to credit, market, capital, liquidity, operational, IT, security, or data risk
- Experience supporting or leading teams that value diverse perspectives
- Comfortable communicating in English and Danish, both written and spoken
- Able to share information clearly with different audiences
- Approaches challenges with curiosity and a commitment to responsible and fair outcomes
