The position involves international travel to attend coffee industry events, trade shows, and client visits. Role Summary
- Lead La Cabra’s wholesale department, managing relationships with specialty coffee professionals worldwide
- Guide and execute global wholesale strategy
- Ensure La Cabra’s values of quality, curiosity, and transparency are reflected in every client experience
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop wholesale strategy in established and emerging markets
- Manage and mentor the wholesale team (currently three members)
- Maintain strong relationships with key partners, ensuring brand and quality alignment
- Oversee onboarding and support for international distributors and franchise partners
- Collaborate with Roastery and Production teams on demand forecasting and client fulfillment
- Work with Marketing and Operations to identify growth opportunities and strengthen brand presence
- Represent La Cabra at international coffee events, trade shows, and client visits
- Track and report on sales, retention, and pipeline development to management
Requirements
- 4–6 years’ experience in specialty coffee or premium F&B wholesale, with proven sales or client leadership success
- Deep understanding of the specialty coffee industry, including green coffee sourcing, roasting, and café operations
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to represent La Cabra authentically across cultures
- Strategic thinker with strong organizational and analytical abilities
- Experience managing teams and projects across multiple regions
- Fluent in English; additional languages, especially Danish, are an advantage
- Willingness to travel internationally as required
