Your Team

  • Investments and M&A team responsible for HEARTLAND’s investment activities
  • Covers M&A transactions and portfolio management
  • Collaborate closely with in-house teams (Finance, Business Development, Legal) and external network

Responsibilities

  • Project management of M&A activities, including due diligence, transaction processes, and investment recommendations
  • Portfolio management: strategic support, performance monitoring, and sparring with stakeholders (board of directors, management)
  • Handle in- and outbound deal flows: case screening and evaluation of opportunities
  • Conduct market research and analysis
  • Contribute to internal reporting, prepare decision basis, and drive continuous process improvements

Requirements

  • Solid experience from investment banking, corporate finance, venture funds, consultancy, in-house M&A, business development and/or as a successful founder
  • Strong understanding of investments and portfolio management
  • Advanced business understanding and commercial acumen
  • Familiarity with Fashion, Consumer Goods, or Tech/Software is beneficial but not required
  • Master’s degree in finance, economics, cand.merc., or similar relevant field
  • Fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken
