About the role

  • Journalist position (one-year project employment, possibility of extension)
  • Responsible for developing, writing, editing, and managing external productions
  • Key role in a project supporting and advising parents in child/adolescent psychiatric departments nationwide
  • Part of the communications and fundraising team at Bedre Psykiatri (one of Denmark's largest psychiatric NGOs)

Responsibilities

  • Develop, write, and edit articles, guides, profiles, cases, and expert interviews
  • Develop and project manage new content elements from freelancers and external contributors
  • Focus on content for parents of children with mental illness or developmental disorders

Requirements

  • Journalist or communications consultant with hands-on experience in interviewing and writing (preferably in an editorial or communications department)
  • Skilled at finding angles, receiving feedback, and editing
  • Able to write clearly, quickly, and for the target audience
  • Works independently and prioritizes getting things done over perfection
