Role Summary
Neurons, the world’s leading consumer neuroscience company, is seeking an enthusiastic and curious Junior Project Coordinator (Student Assistant) to join the Explore team. This is an opportunity for students interested in behavioral science, research operations, and hands-on project experience.
What Success Looks Like in This Role
Your performance will be measured by your ability to deliver accurate research operations, maintain high-quality data outputs, and keep projects moving smoothly. You will have clear, observable objectives from day one.
Deliver Reliable and Accurate Project Execution
- Set up and coordinate online research studies with zero avoidable delays and high procedural accuracy
- Execute data collection sessions that meet Explore protocol standards (complete, valid, and error-free datasets)
- Prepare and test all study materials to ensure studies launch without technical or content-related issues
Maintain Consistent Research and Data Quality
- Capture structured, scientifically aligned observations for project documentation
- Apply Neurons’ quality control procedures to ensure data integrity (accurate timestamps, correct stimuli order, complete sample checks)
- Flag inconsistencies or risks early to identify issues before delivery
Strengthen Team Operations and Project Flow
- Support daily project operations to keep timelines on track and ensure smooth handovers
- Complete ad-hoc operational tasks with reliability and ownership
- Communicate clearly with project coordinators and researchers, proactively sharing blockers, updates, and results
Requirements
- Active enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (psychology, behavioral science, business, communication, data science, or related areas)
- Strong written and spoken English skills
- Structured working approach with excellent attention to detail
- Curiosity for technical tools, digital workflows, and operational processes
- Basic analytical capability (with opportunity to grow in the role)
- Experience writing reports or structured documentation (preferred but not required)
Visa Requirement
- Must already hold a valid Danish work visa permitting student employment
- Neurons cannot offer visa sponsorship for this role
