KONTAKTPERSON FOR MAND MED SYNS- OG HØRETAB – HØRSHOLM

This role requires a compassionate and patient individual to serve as a contact person for an elderly man with significant visual and hearing impairments. The position involves meaningful part-time engagement, approximately three hours every three weeks, primarily during daytime weekdays. Key responsibilities include accompanying the client to medical appointments, assisting with reading and responding to emails, engaging in conversations at home, and supporting the client in keeping up with news, art, and music. The ideal candidate must have clear and articulate Danish communication skills, demonstrate calmness, patience, positivity, and flexibility regarding working hours. A valid category B driver's license is essential, along with willingness to drive either their own or the client’s vehicle. Prior to starting, the candidate will complete a paid e-learning course (about 2.5 hours) remotely, with opportunities for additional paid training alongside other contact persons. The role is suited for a female applicant and offers compensation according to the collective agreement between CFD and FOA, at salary level 12. The position demands interpersonal skills tailored to supporting individuals with sensory disabilities, emphasizing empathy, reliability, and adaptability. Knowledge or experience related to deafblindness or working with people who have sensory impairments is beneficial, supported by available resources and training.
