This role requires a compassionate and patient individual to serve as a contact person for an active 80-year-old woman with combined vision and hearing impairments. Key competencies include strong communication skills, particularly the ability to speak clearly and directly in Danish, and the capacity to provide support through various daily activities such as accompanying the client on errands, attending courses, medical appointments, and social outings. The position involves tasks like guiding and describing visual surroundings, reading mail aloud, and facilitating communication with public authorities. Flexibility and reliability are essential, as working hours are approximately three hours per week with potential for additional hours during extended trips or weekend stays. A willingness to learn about deafblindness through a paid e-learning course and ongoing supervision from specialized consultants is important. While no formal education is required, the role demands good situational awareness, patience, and a collaborative approach to support the client’s independence and quality of life. Having a driver's license is advantageous but not mandatory. The job offers meaningful engagement and the opportunity to make a significant positive impact on another person's daily life, supported by training and guidance from professionals in the field.

Arbejdsopgaver
- Ledsagelse og synsbeskrivelse
- Støtte ved kommunikation i forbindelse med:
- Ærinder udenfor hjemmet
- Deltagelse i kurser m.m.
- Kontakt til offentlige instanser
- Læge- og sygehusbesøg
- Gåture
- Oplæsning af post og breve
- Evt. weekendophold
- Deltagelse i 2,5 timers e-læringsforløb om døvblindhed (lønnet)
Krav
- Villig til at lære nyt i tæt samspil med et andet menneske
- Gode kommunikationsevner
- Tålmodighed og god situationsfornemmelse
- Mødestabil og fleksibel
- Taler klart og tydeligt dansk
- Kørekort til bil er en fordel
