- Work in a diverse, international research environment focused on biomedical research areas such as infection, inflammation, membranes, neuroscience, and personalised medicine
- English is the preferred language in the laboratory, meetings, and seminars

Responsibilities
- Support daily laboratory operations
- Perform biochemical experiments and analyses
- Plan experiments, document data, and ensure quality assurance of laboratory procedures
- Cloning and DNA handling
- Transfection and maintenance of mammalian cell lines
- Protein expression in bacteria and yeast, followed by purification and characterization
- Purification and analysis of proteins from tissue samples
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure daily lab operations
- Order and manage chemicals, reagents, and consumables
- Train and support students and new group members in laboratory methods and routines
Requirements
- Background as Laboratory Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technologist
- Experience with biochemical research

Terms of Employment
- Regulated by the collective agreement between the Ministry of Taxation and the Public Employees’ Organisations (OAO), or the Teachers’ Central Organisation and CO10 – the Central Organisation of 2010 (the LC/CO10 Joint Collective Agreement)
