About the role
Role Summary
- Join the Commercial Distribution team as a Logistics Coordinator (12-month maternity cover)
- Ensure efficient execution of deliveries to Novo Nordisk production sites, affiliates, and external customers
- Work in a fast-paced, highly automated environment with a focus on hands-off processes
- Collaborate closely with Fourth Party Logistics (4PL), warehouses, and freight forwarders
Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient delivery execution in collaboration with 4PL and internal stakeholders
- Monitor automated shipping processes
- Collaborate with 4PL and warehouse on urgent shipment planning and execution
- Proactively resolve potential issues and prevent reoccurrence
- Continuously align and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve processes
- Generate shipping documents and documents for the bank (e.g., letter of credit, collections)
- Participate in cLEAN® and other improvement activities or internal projects related to shipping

- Global Logistics & Distribution (GL&D) is responsible for global distribution of Novo Nordisk products
- Department of 80+ employees across several teams, located at Supply Chain HQ in Taastrup

Requirements
- Relevant educational background in freight forwarding, supply chain, logistics, or similar
- At least 3 years of experience with logistics and shipment coordination (preferably within pharma and GDP)
- Ability to use technical tools to enhance logistics operations; experience with SAP and MS Office is an advantage
- Fluent in spoken and written English
