Role Summary

  • Lead 4 teams: Maintenance and Equipment Support, Equipment, Reliability and Support, ToolShop, and Calibration
  • Report to Director of Manufacturing Engineering

Responsibilities

  • Provide active and visible leadership: recruit, train, develop, and evaluate the maintenance team
  • Develop and implement strategies for optimal use and maintenance of equipment, including TPM
  • Plan daily maintenance tasks and provide tools to drive efficiency and continuous care
  • Identify and resolve technical problems to minimize operational disturbances
  • Manage critical spare parts and materials; maintain trending of maintenance activities, equipment status, and performance
  • Ensure documentation of all maintenance activities in the EAM at equipment level
  • Ensure compliance with applicable QMS, including handling of CAPAs and NCs
  • Continuously evaluate and improve maintenance procedures and systems
  • Implement new technologies and methods to optimize maintenance processes
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure minimal downtime and maximum productivity
  • Transform maintenance into Total Productive Maintenance through structured development of employees, teams, and processes
  • Develop a Lean approach within the department and implement structures for follow-up, problem solving, and trending

Requirements

  • 5+ years managerial experience in a similar position
  • Relevant experience from Medico, Pharma, or Biotech manufacturing industry
  • Ability to build strong purpose, see potential, and develop people
  • Analytic and data-driven, able to translate complexity into clear direction
  • Effective communication skills in Danish and English
  • Strong interpersonal, social, and emotional intelligence
  • LEAN/continuous improvement mindset
