Maternity cover - Supply Chain Officer

Role Summary

  • Temporary position covering maternity leave
  • Work for BackIIBasics (www.b11b.com), a supplier of mint, gum, candy, and confectionery to global retailers
  • Report directly to the COO
  • Collaborate with suppliers in Czech Republic and Germany
  • Ensure smooth supply chain processes and maintain strong supplier relationships
  • Includes regular communication and occasional on-site visits

Responsibilities

  • Procurement:
    • Prepare monthly planning and forecasts
    • Analyze inventory levels and ensure timely purchasing
    • Manage and update supplier orders in Navision BC and Excel
    • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve delivery issues and optimize stock
  • Logistics:
    • Coordinate company shipments via sea, road, and air with logistics partners
    • Support the Supply Chain Manager in various tasks
    • Handle customs documents, warehouse procedures, and shipment tracking
    • Optimize transport costs and ensure delivery reliability
  • Ad Hoc Support:
    • Work on internal projects and support the Supply Chain Manager
    • Manage co-packing tasks and contribute to daily operations

Requirements

  • Relevant theoretical background and/or practical experience
  • Proficiency in Danish and English (German is a plus)
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Advanced Excel proficiency
  • Collaborative, ambitious team player with initiative
