Notary Seminar Instructor (Full-Time, Remote – Sacramento)

Role Summary

  • Remote position based in Northern CA
  • Frequent road travel required
  • Candidates must be located in or around Sacramento, Santa Rosa, or Bay Areas
  • Deliver and teach live California seminars to new and renewing notaries
  • Prepare attendees for the California Notary Exam
  • Provide high-quality training and excellent customer service
  • Flexible schedule: Monday–Saturday
  • Work in a PC/Windows environment

Responsibilities

  • Complete new hire instructor training (notary laws and best practices)
  • Present prepared seminar presentations within specified time
  • Facilitate live seminars with an 88%+ exam passing rate
  • Follow script language to meet state-regulated guidelines
  • Attend team meetings at NNA headquarters (Chatsworth, CA) as needed
  • Process seminar paperwork promptly
  • Provide professional customer service to all attendees
  • Sell notary supplies and promote NNA products/services
  • Contribute to a positive working environment

Requirements

  • Hold or be able to obtain a current CA Notary Commission
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience desired
  • Ability to travel to seminar locations; reliable transportation and vehicle insurance required
  • Some overnight travel required
  • Reliable at-home internet connection
  • Experience in training, adult education, or facilitation

Salary

  • $24.00 – $25.00 per hour
