- 1-year fixed-term postdoc position
- Start date: 15 March 2026 or by agreement
- Department of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, University of Copenhagen
- Focus on Porcine Herd Health Management, including diagnostics, disease prevention, and prudent antibiotic use
- Involvement in research projects, field trials, data analysis, literature reviews, teaching, and dissemination
Responsibilities
- Conduct research on clinical and diagnostic strategies for prudent antibiotic use in pig production
- Participate in field trials and data collection
- Perform data analyses and literature reviews
- Design studies and publish/disseminate research
- Teach within porcine health management
- Contribute to other group tasks as needed
Requirements
- PhD in Porcine Health Management
- Extensive experience with field studies in pig farms
- Strong data analysis skills
- Experience with literature reviews
- Active interest in diagnostic strategies and antimicrobial reduction in pigs
- Proficient communication skills and ability to work in teams
- Excellent written and spoken English
Nice to Have
