On-site
This postdoctoral fellowship in astroparticle physics at the Niels Bohr Institute focuses on advanced research in multi-messenger astrophysics, particularly high-energy neutrino emission and observation. Candidates are expected to have strong analytical skills and demonstrated experience in modeling high-energy neutrino sources. Proficiency in statistical analysis of multi-messenger data is essential, reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of the field that combines observational data, theoretical modeling, and phenomenology. The role involves collaboration with the NBI IceCube group, indicating familiarity with neutrino astronomy and subatomic physics research environments. Teaching responsibilities within astroparticle physics are also part of the position, requiring effective communication and academic skills. While not mandatory, an interdisciplinary background bridging observers, theorists, and phenomenologists is advantageous. The fellowship is a two-year appointment with potential extension, offering opportunities to engage in cutting-edge research at a leading institute. Applicants should possess a PhD in a relevant field, supported by certified academic credentials and a strong publication record. Overall, the ideal candidate combines expertise in high-energy neutrino astrophysics, statistical data analysis, and collaborative research within a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to the advancement of subatomic and astroparticle physics.
