Familiarity with popular testing tools such as Selenium, Gtest, Pytest, Appium, and scripting languages is advantageous. The role also values proficiency in multiple programming languages and version control systems like Git, Gitlab, CVS, and Subversion, as well as project management tools including Jira and Confluence. A solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and requirement management processes for software development teams and stakeholders further strengthens a candidate's fit. While not mandatory, a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field is desirable. The position offers a unique blend of freelancing freedom with full-time job security, focusing on flexibility, autonomy, and working remotely on innovative projects across industries such as EV, Gaming, AI, MedTech, AR, and FinTech. Responsibilities
- Work as a QA Engineer consultant on challenging and fun assignments
- Contribute to well-tested, launch-ready products and applications
- Automate the test-cycle
- Adapt quickly to new environments and challenges
- Typically work on 1-2 assignments per year in sectors of interest
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
- Deep understanding of one or more technical areas listed below
- Fluency in English (verbal and written)
- Experience in agile environments
- Doer's mindset with a proven track record
Nice to Have
- Background in building test frameworks and test cases for apps, web, backend, infrastructure, or embedded systems
- Experience with testing tools (Selenium, Gtest, Pytest, Appium, Scripting, etc.)
