The Senior Hardware Developer role requires expertise in RF and mixed-signal hardware design, specifically for advanced radio systems used in space applications. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and at least three years of relevant experience. Key technical skills include proficiency in ECAD tools such as Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout, with hands-on experience designing radio frequency systems operating across a broad frequency range from 100 MHz to 20 GHz. The role demands strong capabilities in mixed digital and analog hardware design, with a focus on low-mass, low-power embedded systems suitable for space environments. Responsibilities encompass the full product lifecycle, including concept development, hardware implementation, testing, qualification, and in-orbit validation. Candidates must be skilled in power and signal integrity analysis and experienced in creating documentation for both internal teams and customers. Familiarity with automated test procedure development is also important. Professional working proficiency in English is required, along with the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and work collaboratively within a small, specialized team. While prior experience with space systems is advantageous, it is not mandatory. The position offers the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge satellite communication technologies and work alongside leading space agencies such as NASA and ESA.
