Responsibilities
- Participate in or lead product development projects
- Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and product managers
- Own key platform components: envision, design, build, and support
- Lead and join discussions on platform initiatives
- Troubleshoot and maintain high quality and low bug count in core products
- Adopt best practices in software engineering: design, testing, documentation, build, deployment, and operations
Requirements

- 4+ years of hands-on software development experience
- At least 1 year in a professional environment using JavaScript-based frameworks or Ruby on Rails
- Experience deploying software to cloud environments (AWS or Azure)
- Experience working in a product team owning a product or part of a product (ideal)
- Fast learner with strong opinions about your projects
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills; able to explain complex technical topics to technical and non-technical colleagues
- Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL
- High attention to detail; write high-quality, maintainable, and testable code
- Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and frameworks as needed
