Responsibilities
- Align programme objectives with Danske Bank’s strategic goals
- Drive execution across multiple inter-related programmes and domains
- Ensure benefit realisation and measurable outcomes
- Lead strategic, high-impact programmes
Strengthen governance, performance, and control:
- Establish programme governance frameworks and controls
- Monitor progress, performance, risks, financials, and dependencies
- Implement corrective actions and ensure compliance
Secure resources and delivery capacity:
- Manage and request resource allocation across teams
- Build cross-topic expertise to guide teams
- Lead major programmes end-to-end when needed
Drive change and adoption:
- Partner with Change professionals and end users for adoption
- Facilitate change management during programme execution
Communicate and engage senior leaders:
- Engage senior stakeholders and sponsors; escalate issues as needed
- Provide consolidated programme status, financials, and insights
- Present regularly to senior leaders and support decision-making
Requirements
- Proven success leading large-scale, complex tech programmes
- Deep understanding of modern technology (cloud, platforms, integrations, data, infrastructure)
- Strong governance, benefits realisation, and change management skills
- Advanced executive communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management
- Ability to rapidly build domain expertise and provide cross-topic guidance
- Ability to simplify complexity and drive clarity in ambiguity
- Recognised subject-matter expert; able to mentor, coach, and raise team maturity
