Role Summary
S Skolemad ApS is growing and looking for a skilled and motivated Sous Chef to support our Head Chef and kitchen team. We deliver healthy, high-quality meals to schools and institutions, with a strong focus on nutrition, efficiency, and food safety.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations
- Prepare and cook high-quality meals for school canteens
- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth workflow
- Help plan menus, production schedules, and food prep
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety (HACCP)
- Organise stock, deliveries, and inventory control
- Maintain consistent taste, quality, and presentation
- Step in as acting Head Chef when required
Requirements
- Experience as a Sous Chef, Chef, or Senior Cook
- Structured, reliable, and able to take initiative
- Able to lead and support a kitchen team
- Thrive in a busy production kitchen
- Strong knowledge of food hygiene standards
- Clear communicator (English is sufficient)
- Positive, solution-oriented, and quality-focused
- Formal chef training is an advantage, but strong professional kitchen experience is equally valuable
