This position seeks a qualified social professional such as a social pedagogical worker, pedagogue, occupational therapist, or social and health assistant (SSA) to work at Hatten, a day service for adults with physical or psychological developmental disabilities. Candidates should hold relevant education in pedagogy, occupational therapy, social care, or a related field, preferably with experience in social pedagogical settings. The role requires a compassionate and respectful approach, emphasizing recognition and trust in interactions with service users. Responsibilities include engaging in all pedagogical and practical tasks, supporting individuals in maintaining their skills, and participating in meaningful activities such as swimming, horseback riding, outdoor life, workshops, creative activities, kitchen duties, and managing a small shop. The professional must be comfortable with personal care duties, with thorough training provided. The work environment focuses on creating safe, predictable, and developmental frameworks using pedagogical methods like KRAP, neuropsychology/neuropedagogy, and Low Arousal techniques. Documentation and collaboration with authorities are essential, involving individual goal-oriented work documented in a journal system.
