About the role
Role Summary
- Full-time, fixed-term position (2 years) as Laboratory Coordinator within kidney research
- Start date: 15 December 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter
- Department of Biomedicine, Faculty of Health, Aarhus University

Responsibilities
- Secure and further develop novel diagnostic devices from an innovation project
- Manage experimental and clinical research projects on systemic acid-base disturbances
- Research management and support
- Conduct animal experiments
- Facilitate sparring and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Write grants to secure funding for a planned spin-out company
- Supervise data analysis and data collection in clinical studies
- Handle administrative responsibilities
- Report to Prof. Jens Leipziger
Requirements
- Strong background in kidney research
- Experience with project management
- Experience with animal experiments and data analysis (necessary)
- Good interpersonal skills; inclusive and team-oriented
- Ability to contribute to a positive work environment
- Fluency in oral and written English
