About the role

Role Summary

  • Full-time, fixed-term position (2 years) as Laboratory Coordinator within kidney research
  • Start date: 15 December 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter
  • Department of Biomedicine, Faculty of Health, Aarhus University

Responsibilities

  • Secure and further develop novel diagnostic devices from an innovation project
  • Manage experimental and clinical research projects on systemic acid-base disturbances
  • Research management and support
  • Conduct animal experiments
  • Facilitate sparring and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Write grants to secure funding for a planned spin-out company
  • Supervise data analysis and data collection in clinical studies
  • Handle administrative responsibilities
  • Report to Prof. Jens Leipziger

Requirements

  • Strong background in kidney research
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience with animal experiments and data analysis (necessary)
