This Student Assistant role in Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) supports BWSC's commitment to sustainable energy solutions through administrative and operational assistance within the QHSE function. The position requires part-time availability with flexibility, reporting directly to the Senior QHSE Manager. Key responsibilities include supporting the administration of an ISO-accredited management system, acting as a superuser for incident management software (Evotix), producing routine reports for executive and operational teams, and assisting in the development of a companywide Learning Management System. Candidates should be self-motivated, driven, and capable of independently managing their workload while demonstrating strong communication skills across organizational levels. The role demands initiative, adaptability, and the ability to build effective working relationships. Role Summary
- Support BWSC's QHSE journey and contribute to sustainable energy solutions
- Part-time position (approx. 15 hours/week) with flexible hours and exam period accommodation
- Report to the Senior QHSE Manager and assist the QHSE function
Responsibilities
- Support administration of ISO accredited management system
- Superuser duties for incident management software (Evotix)
- Assist in producing routine reports for Executive Board, Leadership Team, and Operational Departments
- Aid in the development of a companywide Learning Management System
Requirements
- Self-motivated, driven, and ambitious
- Comfortable generating and managing own workload
- Able to use initiative to overcome challenges
- Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization
- Capable of fostering strong working relationships
- Curious and eager to learn about BWSC and QHSE
- Willing to adapt and help shape a new role
- Knowledge of QHSE is desirable but not required
