- Student helper position at the Centre for Textile Research, Saxo Institute, Faculty of Humanities, University of Copenhagen
- Start date: 01 February 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter
- Must be enrolled as a student at a Danish University
Responsibilities
- Academic assistance: Support planning and execution of research seminars, workshops, and outreach
- Daily support: Facilitate meetings, provide digital meeting support, book rooms, onboard visiting scholars and interns
- Research activities: Editing, digital image work, bibliographical research, data management
- Web and social media: Maintain the Centre’s webpage and manage social media profiles
Requirements
- More than 1 year of studies left (preferred)
- Strong organisational skills
- Interest in textile research
- Ability to work in a collaborative and international environment
- Proficiency in English and Danish
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with social media communication (advantage)
- Students with practical experience in textile technical analysis are strongly encouraged to apply
The Position
- Approximately 8 hours per week
- Flexible working hours; some weeks busier than others
- Possibility of renewal
- Employment governed by the OAO-S Collective Agreement and the Organizational Agreement for Office Workers, Laboratory Technicians, and IT Employees (HK)
