Responsibilities
- Participate in the Novo Nordisk Foundation Initiative for Vaccines and Immunity (NIVI)
- Work on human immunology for TB vaccine strategies and mucosal immunity
- Design experiments, acquire and analyze data
- Use data analysis, fluorospot, flow cytometry, and mRNA sequencing to study immune responses
- Collaborate with international research groups
- Provide expertise on mucosal and peripheral immune responses
Requirements
- PhD in Life Sciences or Data Sciences

The Project
- Involvement in all clinical trials in the Department
- Main projects: TB and community-acquired pneumonia
- TB vaccine (H107e/CAF®10b) in phase Ib trial with mucosal sampling
- Research on immune responses to S. pneumoniae and other pathogens
- Characterizing immune response breadth and phenotype
Conditions of Employment
- Two-year employment
- Terms according to Danish collective agreements for scientific staff
- Research qualifications assessed by a scientific committee per Danish regulations
- Submission of publication list and 2-3 scientific works required
