This position requires a trained Social and Health Assistant (SSA) with specific experience in psychiatric care. The candidate must have practical knowledge and hands-on experience in medication dosing and managing patients with complex mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, altered reality perception, personality and attachment disorders, as well as inward-directed behaviors. Experience working in a psychiatric environment is essential, including familiarity with the Danish electronic medication record system (FMK). The role involves shift work covering days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, requiring flexibility and reliability. A valid category B driver's license is necessary, indicating the ability to travel as needed. Fluency in Danish, both spoken and understood, is mandatory to communicate effectively with residents and colleagues. The work setting is a § 107 residential care facility accommodating adults with reduced psychological and/or physical functional abilities, some with treatment orders or histories of substance abuse seeking support to cease usage. The candidate must be prepared to work with a vulnerable population requiring compassionate, patient-centered care and support. A clean criminal record is required, as a background check will be conducted. Overall, the role demands a combination of clinical skills, psychiatric care experience, medication management competence, flexibility in scheduling, and strong interpersonal communication in Danish within a supportive residential care environment.
