The Women’s Academy 2026 is an 8-week student program designed to provide participants with comprehensive insights into the financial sector, particularly focusing on banking, investment banking, risk management, and financial control. The program emphasizes diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), aiming to promote gender balance and broader diversity within the financial industry. Participants gain exposure to key departments such as Large Corporates and Institutions (LC&I), Group Risk Management, Corporate Finance, Debt Capital Markets, Investment Risk, Strategy Execution, and Enterprise Risk Management. The program offers a structured learning environment with weekly 3-hour sessions held at Danske Bank Headquarters, enabling students to develop foundational knowledge across various financial disciplines. Networking opportunities with Danske Bank professionals and leaders are integral, fostering connections and mentorship. The program targets university students from the second year of their bachelor’s degree through the second year of their master’s degree, welcoming those motivated to learn and grow regardless of prior banking experience. Applicants are encouraged to demonstrate their interest and motivation for the financial sector and articulate their learning goals. Successful participants receive a certificate of completion and access to a community of peers and alumni, enhancing their professional network.
