We’re looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our Copenhagen office and take ownership of the accounting and administration of our clients’ companies. This is a role for someone proactive, responsible, and eager to be close to both clients and decisions in a fast-growing FinTech.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of accounting for a portfolio of management companies from day one
- Keep books clean, accurate, and up to date in E-conomic, ensuring smooth month-end and year-end closes
- Run invoicing, accruals, cost allocations, and expense tracking
- Support VAT handling and local compliance requirements
- Be a go-to accounting contact for clients, auditors, and internal stakeholders
- Help standardize, document, and elevate how accounting services are delivered across Embankment
- Contribute to smarter system use and process improvements as we scale
- Work closely with colleagues across Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Luxembourg to deliver best-in-class service
