About the role
- Join the Oral Delivery Technologies department at Novo Nordisk as an Associate Scientist/Research Scientist (Temporary)
- Focus on formulating therapeutic proteins and peptides into oral solid dosage forms
- Collaborate closely with scientists and technicians in planning and executing laboratory activities
- Contribute across formulation, analysis, and characterization disciplines
Responsibilities
- Design laboratory experiments and apply innovative research approaches
- Perform laboratory experiments to support project deliverables
- Collect and report results with high accuracy and quality
- Participate in project progression, provide oral formulation expertise, contribute to project plans, present data, and address scientific challenges
- Collaborate with scientists and technicians to ensure effective project teamwork
- Contribute to continuous improvement of methods, techniques, and approaches
Requirements
- Master’s degree or PhD in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus
- Trained in formulation laboratory work and pharmaceutical characterization of solid dosage forms (e.g., disintegration, dissolution, HPLC analysis)
- Hands-on experience with tabletting and capsule processes such as spray-drying and coating
- Innovative mindset with a research track record in oral drug delivery
- Curious, adaptable, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
