Candidates should have a relevant educational background in Data Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or similar fields, and preferably experience in a production or manufacturing industry environment. - Work across the full BI stack: design, develop, and maintain back-end and front-end solutions
- Join Struers, a global leader in equipment, consumables, and services for materialographic surface preparation and analysis
- Be part of a small, dedicated BI team within the Global IT department
- Support data integration projects, daily operations, and business needs with data models, reports, and services
- Explore and implement AI-driven solutions to enhance analytics, automation, and decision-making
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions (data models, dashboards, reports)
- Manage and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions
- Ensure data quality and integrity across BI systems; document best practices
- Support continuous improvement of BI platform and processes
- Explore and implement AI-driven solutions for analytics and automation
- Play a key role in the migration from on-premise SQL to Microsoft Fabric
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, or related fields
- Strong proficiency in SQL; experience with both back-end (data modeling, ETL) and front-end (dashboards, visualization) BI development
- Relevant educational background in Data Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or similar
- Experience with Microsoft BI
- Work or case experience in a production or manufacturing industry environment
- Knowledge of Cloud Data Warehousing/BI (e.g., Azure, Microsoft Fabric)
- Experience with Master Data Management and MS BI tool stacks (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for advanced analytics and AI
