This role offers the opportunity to influence KU’s innovation collaborations and international AI research partnerships, working closely with leading academics and stakeholders. Responsibilities
- Develop and drive strategic collaborations focused on AI
- Identify and facilitate large EU-funded projects
- Build on the European network established through AI in Science Summit 2025
- Establish and maintain a strong network in EU and Denmark within research, innovation, and relevant organizations
- Strengthen KU’s international position
- Contribute to the development of ELLIS in Denmark and Europe in close collaboration with the ELLIS chairperson
- Advise management and researchers on EU funding opportunities and support researchers in project development
Requirements
- Documented experience with large EU projects (Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, or similar), preferably as PI or project leader
- In-depth knowledge of AI research and application, preferably with a PhD and experience as a senior researcher
- Strong network in EU and Denmark within research, innovation, and public/private organizations
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate across sectors
- Strategic understanding and experience with research and innovation policy
