The nurse must demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and a solution-oriented, structured approach suitable for a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Working locations include offices in Torrevieja or Fuengirola, Spain, with Viking Assistance Group providing 24/7 travel and medical assistance services across the Nordic region. About the role

- Assist Danish customers with travel insurance who experience incidents, illness, or accidents while traveling
- Provide support in Nordic languages, focusing on medical case handling
Responsibilities
- Answer calls and emails, register and handle cases, coordinate assistance
- Perform medical screening/triage and escalate complex cases to doctors
- Communicate with patients, relatives, clinics, and hospitals; obtain medical reports
- Assess medical reports and journals, decide on coverage and treatment needs
- Provide medical advice to customers when relevant
- Train and support Assistance Coordinators in medical issues
Requirements
- EU-recognized nursing certification and license
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience as a Registered Nurse
- Fluent in Danish (written and spoken)
- Proficient in English; Spanish is a plus
- Experience in insurance or travel industry is an advantage
- Experience in training and coaching colleagues is an advantage
- Clean criminal record
