Data Centre Operations Manager

Role Summary

• Manage day-to-day data centre operations at Danske Bank
• Lead a team of 6 in Data Centre Services
• Ensure efficient, effective, and high-quality operations
• Collaborate with Technology, Physical Security, and third-party vendors

Responsibilities

• Direct daily data centre operations, including capacity, placement, and MEP management
• Lead a team of Site Leads
• Support strategy and recommend improvements for efficiency, security, and reliability
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal policies
• Facilitate audits and provide input on risk identification
• Oversee and control third-party contracts
• Liaise with internal teams and vendors on operational activities, including access control and surveillance
• Use DCIM systems to provide clear and insightful reports on key metrics and activities

Requirements

• Extensive experience managing data centres in a leadership role
• Ability to inspire a team, set clear goals, and provide support
• Strong project management skills
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in data centre operations planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Based in Denmark with a valid driver's license for travel between Ballerup and Bagsværd
