Role Summary

  • Join Semco Maritime's Transitional Energies division as Director of Operation Support, Manpower & Resources

Responsibilities

  • Lead a department of several hundred employees (administrative and production personnel)
  • Oversee contracted personnel for projects in the North Sea and onshore energy sector
  • Lead and develop teams through Team Leaders, ensuring optimal organization and competencies
  • Initiate and follow up on change and development initiatives
  • Build relationships and drive sales with key customers and manage large tenders
  • Optimize workflows and processes for project and task execution
  • Manage key contracts for leading companies in the energy sector
  • Expand the global resource and competence pool, leveraging new business opportunities
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety, including 'safety leadership' and 'Emergency Response'
  • Support and adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards in all activities

Requirements

  • Advanced technical education (e.g., engineer, marine engineer), preferably with commercial specialization (e.g., HD or MBA)
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing teams
  • Commercial mindset
  • Proven track record in resource management and project execution
